GameCopyWorld: 10 Years old !!!
Today (10-10-2008) we celebrated our 10th year of existence!
We started the GameCopyZone on 10-10-1998 as games appeared protected with the LaserLock, SafeDisc & SecuROM protections. These were the first effective copy protections. Early 1999 the GameCopyZone was renamed to the current GameCopyWorld.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, especially the people sending us files and all the moderators of our FileForums, who helped creating a great gaming community!

Class-Action Suit against Electronic Arts over Spore SecuROM Online Activation
It was just a matter of time that someone would startup a Class-Action suit over the limited number of activations (3) in Spore [Spore.pdf].
The negative feedback on Spore started @ Amazon and spread from there to the official EA forums, where they now treaten to ban your Spore account if you continue to discuss the SecuROM protection...
Spore is not the only game containing the new SecuROM PA (Product Activation) option Other games like BioShock, Mass Effect, Mercenaries 2, Crysis Warhead and the upcoming Red Alert 3 also contain SecuROM PA.

Backup any DVD Movie with your CD-Burner or DVD-Burner
